Don't deprive yourself of the things that you love.......just trade your fatty choices to an alternative that is less in fat. According to the British Medical Journal, making this change can help you in dropping more weight a week, up to at least 3.5 pounds~without following a day by day structured plan. Don't focus on just numbers, look at what you are eating and in what amount. You like buffets? How hungry are you really? You don't have to pile the food on to the point where it is spilling over.
Use a smaller plate, eat smaller portions, dont stuff yourself. Before you begin your meal, drink a glass of water and then begin to eat. The water will take the hunger feeling away, only eat until your satisfied and not full. Getting full will begin to give you the feeling of fatigue.
Simply eating your favorite foods with a lower fat content will consistently lead to the decrease in your weight and slim your waist down. Cutting down on the fat will also decrease the risk of heart disease and strokes up to 14 percent, states Lee Hooper, a nutrition researcher of Norwich Medical School in the UK.
You can begin making the switch by keeping a food diary daily or even downloading the MyFitnessPal app to your phone or Tablet/iPad. When cooking items such as chicken, or other meats, choose leaner options or take the skin off of the meat. Replace your sweet snacks with fruit instead of having cookies or candy. The more changes or alternatives you make to your daily meals the more results you will see.
